College Art - Part 1

Art Theory Projects

Selene's first year as a Graphic Design student at Lynn Univeristy in Florida was devoted to learning the basic theories of art and design, so she didn't produce much actual "art" that I could include here. But in her second year, she began to work on art projects that have produced some nice results (in my very biased opinion). Here is a small sampling.

The next three examples resulted from a project where Selene had to take an existing music CD cover and recreate its design in the artistic style of three different periods in the history of art. Here then is the cover art of the CD Tragic Kingdom by the group No Doubt in Greek, Rococo, and Art Deco styles.

In her third year, Selene took a basic photography course. And the following are a couple examples of black & white photos taken for class assignments.
