Season Two - The Coming of Shadows

With Commander Sinclair reassigned as the first human ambassador to the Minbari homeworld, his replacement, Captain John Sheridan, is immediately forced to deal with a renegade Minbari warship from the Earth-Minbari War that attacks Babylon 5. Sheridan also learns the reason why the Minbari surrendered in that war although they were on the verge of victory over the Earth Alliance.


Revelations

While investigating the destruction of the Narn outpost in Quadrant 37, G'Kar is attacked by warships that he believes are from a very old civilization spoken of in the Narn holy books as a great and evil power. Meanwhile back on Babylon 5, Delenn emerges from her chrysalis.


The Geometry of Shadows

While Ivanova, with Garibaldi's help, tries to mediate a culturally-based conflict between two factions of the Drazi race, Centauri Ambassador Londo Molari tries to convince three members of the magical Technomage people to endorse him in his bid to eventually replace the Centauri emperor.


A Distant Star

An old friend of Captain Sheridan stops at Babylon 5 to resupply his Explorer ship in preparation for a second 5-year mission mapping the edge of known space. After the ship enters the jumpgate, an explosion causes its navigational system to fail, stranding them in hyperspace and prompting Sheridan to mount a desperate rescue attempt.


The Long Dark

A long-lost sleeper ship arrives in the vicinity of Babylon 5 with a woman and her dead husband in cryogenic chambers; and at the same time, the sole survivor of a listening post that was attacked by a mysterious entity during the Earth-Minbari War warns that the creature is now aboard Babylon 5.


A Spider in the Web

A long-time friend of Talia Winters who is trying to peacefully win independence for the Mars Colony arrives on Babylon 5 and is soon killed by a stranger on the station who turns out to be a leader of the Free Mars movement thought to have been killed during a prior Martian rebellion. As Sheridan and Garibaldi investigate the murder, they find clues of an underground organization working within the Earth government for its own evil purposes.


Soul Mates

Londo summons his three wives to Babylon 5, where he will celebrate the 13th anniversary of his ascension date and then decide which of them he will NOT divorce. Meanwhile, Talia Winters meets her ex-husband, a former Psi Corps telepath, who tries to convince her to leave Babylon 5 with him.


A Race Through Dark Places

PsiCop Bester arrives on Babylon 5 following up on leads to an underground "railroad" for telepaths trying to escape the control of Psi Corps; but when the leaders of the underground kidnap Psi Corps member Talia Winters and try to convince her of the justice of their actions, Bester's search takes an unexpected turn.


The Coming of Shadows

On the occasion of the Centauri emperor's visit to Babylon 5, Narn Ambassador G'Kar plots his assassination, while Centauri Ambassador Londo Molari sets in motion a plan to defeat the Narn and gain access to the emperor's throne. But Londo's plan may play into the hands of the mysterious evil force mounting at the edge of known space.


Gropos

General Richard Franklin, Dr. Franklin's father, arrives on Babylon 5 with 25,000 Earth Alliance ground troops (Gropos) on a stop-over before going to a planet near Narn and Centauri space to support government forces in a bloody civil war. While on the station, General Franklin and his father reconcile with each other and the other station crew deal with the sudden and unexpected population explosion.


All Alone in the Night

Minbari Ambassador Delenn is summoned before the Grey Council, where she is informed that she will be replaced by a member of the warrior caste, which is less sympathetic to the humans. Meanwhile, after Captain Sheridan is rescued from the Streib, who are collecting specimens of different races for study and observation, he is asked by his former commanding officer, General Hague, to help uncover a plot to undermine Earth's legal government.


Acts of Sacrifice

Tensions increase on Babylon 5 as the war between the Narn and Centauri becomes more violent, and G'Kar sacrifices himself in order to stop a plan by a group of Narns to kill all Centaurians aboard the station. In the meantime, Captain Sheridan and Delenn try to convince their respective governments to intervene to stop the war, and Ivanova tries to convince the Lumati, a race they know little about, to side with Earth's position in the conflict.


Hunter, Prey

A doctor who has information to prove that Earth President Clarke faked an illness in order to be let off the spaceship of former President Santiago before it was destroyed in an "accidental" explosion is tracked to Babylon 5 by Earth Special Intelligence agents; but Captain Sheridan and Vorlon Ambassador Kosh find a way to hide the doctor from detection.


There All the Honor Lies

While Ivanova deals with setting up an outlet for merchandising Babylon 5 collectibles, Captain Sheridan faces possible removal as commander of the station for the murder of a Minbari; but with Delenn's help, it is eventually learned that the death of the Minbari was part of a plot for revenge by a Minbari cast that Sheridan "dishonored" during the Earth-Minbari War.


And Now a Word

The Centauri have been using Babylon 5 as a transfer point for military equipment to be used against the Narn and, during a visit to Babylon 5 by a news reporter from Earth, the Narn attack the station. Meanwhile back on Earth, the government forms a Ministry of Public Morals and an Office of Public Information, which appear to be under the influence of the Psi Cops.


The Shadow of Z'ha'dum

While station personnel deal with the increasing number of Narn refugees from the Narn-Centauri War who are coming to Babylon 5, Sheridan learns that Morden was on the exploration vessel on which Sheridan's wife was killed and about the existence of the Shadows, an ancient race that was defeated over 10,000 years before by a coalition of races, the last remaining of which are the Vorlons.


Knives

While investigating the "Grey Sector" of Babylon 5, which is believed to be haunted, Sheridan encounters the corpse of a trader, from which a spirit emerges and goes into Sheridan's body, causing him to have strange and disturbing visions; meanwhile Urza, a life-long friend of Centauri Ambassador Londo Mollari asks Londo's help to restore his family's honor, but when Londo refuses to help, Urza challenges him to a duel to the death.


Confessions and Lamentations

When a plague begins to spread among members of the Markab race, Dr. Franklin places the entire Markab population on Babylon 5 under quarantine and begins to search for a cure; but when a member of the Pak'ma'ra race also dies of the disease, the threat becomes critical because of the danger to all species on the station.


Divided Loyalties

Telepath Lyta Alexander comes to Babylon 5 to warn Sheridan that PsiCorps has planted a spy aboard the station in the form of a sleeper personality in the mind of one of the station's officers. After an attempt on Lyta's life, and rampant suspicion about the identity of the spy, the person is eventually uncovered and neutralized.


The Long, Twilight Struggle

With the aid of the Shadows, the Centauri fleet mounts the final, crushing attack against the Narn homeworld, completing the Centauri conquest. Meanwhile, Draal, caretaker of the secrets of the moon Epsilon 3, begins preparations for the battle to come against the Shadows.


Comes the Inquisitor

Kosh enlists the services of an entity known in Earth history as Jack the Ripper to confirm the fitness of Delenn and Sheridan to be part of the army of light during the coming struggle against the forces of darkness.


The Fall of Night

When Keffer enters hyperspace to search for the mysterious ship he saw on a previous mission, his Starfury is attack and destroyed, but not before he has the opportunity to launch a drone camera to capture the Shadow ship on film. Meanwhile, back on Babylon 5, Kosh must reveal himself in order to save Sheridan from an assassin's trap.
