SciFi Channel Series - Season One
Mini-Series (Parts 1 and 2)12/08/2003On the eve of the retirement of the Battlestar Galactica, the Cylons (robotic beings originally created by humans) launch a devastating nuclear attack on the human worlds, killing all but a hand-full of survivors who manage to escape aboard a rag-tag fleet of assorted civilian spaceships. Led by President Roslind, an educator thrust into the role because she was the highest ranking government survivor, and Commander Adama of the Battlestar Galactica, the fleet carries the last remaining 50,000 humans in an attempt to escape the pursuing Cylons. Unknownst to them, there are humanoid Cylons in their midst and Dr. Baltar, who had betrayed his own race and allowed the Cylons to launch their attack without warning, has so far escaped detection at the ultimate traitor.
3301/14/2005The rag-tag fleet carrying the 50,000 survivors of the Cylon attack tries to evade renewed attacks from the Cylons that come exactly every 33 minutes, and a civilian transport may have spies aboard who are giving the fleet's position to the pursuing Cylons.
Water01/14/2005Galactica carries the only supply of water for the fleet, but a humanoid Cylon spy sabotages the water storage tanks, resulting in the loss of more than half of the water supply; now Commander Adama has to mount a desperate search for a planet where they can restock their water supply.
Bastille Day01/21/2005While trying to recruit prisoners to help mine water from an ice planet, Captain Apollo and the crew of the prison ship are held hostage by the escaped prisoners, now led by a charismatic convicted terrorist who demands the resignation of President Roslind and the holding of elections for a new government. [Note: Actor Richard Hatch, who was Captain Apollo in the original Battlestar Galactica series, played the role of the terrorist.]
Act of Contrition01/28/2005When an accident aboard ship kills over a dozen Galactica pilots, Starbuck is assigned to train new replacements, which brings to the forefront her feelings of guilt over having cleared Zac Adama for active duty although he didn't have what it took to be a good pilot -- which ultimately cost him his life.
You Can't Go Home Again02/04/2005Despite the threat of a Cylon attack, Commander Adama mounts an all out effort to find and rescue Starbuck, who bailed out of her crippled Viper over a hostile moon; meanwhile on Caprica, the stranded "Helo" fights to survive on the now Cylon-controlled world.
Litmus02/11/2005When a humanoid Cylon infiltrates Galactica and blows himself up, killing three and wounding many other crew members, a tribunal is convened to investigate how the Cylon got past ship security; but the tribunal soon turns into a witch hunt that even targets Commander Adama.
6 Degrees of Separation02/18/2005Number Six comes aboard Galatcia with evidence that Dr. Baltar betrayed the human race by helping the Cylons gain access to the Colonies' computerize defense systems, resulting in Baltar being thrown in prison and charged with treason.
Flesh and Bone02/25/2005A humanoid Cylon is found aboard one of the civilian ships, and Starbuck is sent to interrogate him, with unexpected results; meanwhile, Baltar discovers that a key member of the Galactica crew is also a humanoid Cylon, but keeps the information to himself.
Tigh Me Up, Tigh Me Down03/04/2005When Colonel Tigh's "resumed dead" wife mysteriously turns up on one of the civilian ships, Commander Adama secretly tries to find out if she's a Cylon; but, Adama's unusual behavior puts him under suspicion of being a Cylon.
Hand of God03/11/2005With the fleet running low on fuel, Commander Adama has no choice but to launch a desperate mission to attack and capture a Cylon fueling station and, with Starbuck still not fully recovered, Apollo must lead the near-suicide mission.
Colonial Day03/18/2005On the anniversary of Colonial Day, delegates from the 12 colonies assemble for the first time, and among them is convicted terrorist Tom Zarek, who makes a power play by having himself nominated to the position of Vice-President; but President Roslin outmaneuvers him with an unexpected candidate of her own. Meanwhile back on Caprica, Helo makes the startling discovery that Boomer is a Cylon clone.
Kobol's Last Gleaming - Part 103/25/2005Galactica finds a planet that might be Kobol, the birthplace of humanity, but a Cylon base star ambushes a trio of Raptors sent to survey the planet; meanwhile, President Roslin sends Starbuck on a secret mission to retrieve Apollo's Arrow, an important religious artifact, from Caprica in the hope that it will show the way to Earth.
Kobol's Last Gleaming - Part 204/01/2005Starbuck arrives at Caprica on her mission to retrieve Apollo's Arrow; Adama has President Roslin arrested for having over-ridden his orders by sending Starbuck to Caprica; and Boomer is sent on a near suicide mission to destroy a Cylon base star orbiting Kobol and, upon returning to Galactica, carries out her own Cylon-directed mission.
