The Search (Part 1)

Commander Sisko returns to Deep Space 9 from Earth with the USS Defiant, an all-out warship (with a Romulan cloaking device) that was originally built to battle the Borg, and heads into the Gamma Quadrant in search of the Founders of the Dominion.


The Search (Part 2)

In the Gamma Quadrant aboard the USS Defiant, Odo is drawn to a rogue planet, which turns out to be his homeworld; meanwhile, the Deep Space 9 officers escape the Jem'Hadar and back to Deep Space 9, where they find the Federation ready to sign a treaty giving the Dominion control of the space station and the planet Bajor.


The House of Quark

A drunken Klingon is killed in a fight with Quark, and the Klingon's widow demands that Quark do the honorable thing by marrying her to protect her husband's land and property from his usurping brother.


Equilibrium

When Jadzia Dax begins to hallucinate and exhibit strange behavior, Sisko and Dr. Bashir take her to the Trill homeworld, where they discover that 80 years before, the Dax symbiont had been given an unsuitable host before being joined with the host Curzon.


Second Skin

Major Kira is abducted enroute to Bajor and taken to the Cardassian homeworld, where she is awakened as a Cardassian and told that she was a Cardassian spy stationed on Bajor as a replacement for the real Kira Nerys.


The Abandoned

Quark finds an alien baby among the salvaged wreckage of an alien spaceship he bought from a old business associate; and to everyone's surprise, the baby grows to become a Jem'Hadar, who Odo tries to guide towards non-violence.


Civil Defense

Chief O'Brien accidentally triggers a hidden Cardassian security routine in the computer of the ore processing plant aboard Deep Space 9, and the computer, thinking that a Bajoran rebellion is in progress, locks down the entire station and activates a self-destruct device.


Meridian
11/13/94 -- Stardate: 48423.2

While exploring in the Gamma Quadrant in the Defiant, the Deep Space 9 officers encounter a planet with a small colony that shifts between dimensions every 60 years; meanwhile, back on Deep Space 9, one of Quark's customers developes a fixation with Major Kira.


Defiant

Posing as Commander William Riker, Lt. Thomas Riker steals the Defiant and delivers her to the Maquis and, as a result, Commander Sisko has to help the Cardassians stop the Defiant from attacking Cardassian outposts in the demilitarized zone in order to prevent a Cardassian/Federation war.


Fasincation

Shortly after Lwaxana Troi arrives on Deep Space 9, the station's crew and other residents begin to exhibit amorous behavior toward each other, causing jealousies and general chaos on the station.


Past Tense (Part 1)

Visiting Earth to participate in a Starfleet symposium, Sisko, Bashir, and Dax are sent back in time to the year 2024 by a transporter malfunction on the Defiant; and they inadvertently contaminate the timeline, causing the Federation to cease to exist.


Past Tense (Part 2)

After a resident of a sanctuary for social outcasts who was to play an important role in the reformation of 21st Century American society is killed, Sisko assumes the dead man's identity and role in history in an attempt to restore the proper timeline.

On the eve of peace talks between the Bajorans and Cardassians, an accident on a Bajoran transport critically injures Vedek Variel, and Dr. Bashir almost miraculously saves his life; but Kai Winn's insistence on continuing with the planned talks puts Variel's life at risk.


Heart of Stone

While Major Kira and Odo are searching for a Maquis pilot in caverns on an unexplored moon in the Badlands, Kira becomes trapped by a crystal formation that keeps growing, encasing her entire body; meanwhile back on Deep Space 9, Nog tries to convince Commander Sisko to nominate him to Starfleet Academy.


Destiny
02/12/95 -- Stardate: 48543.2

Three Cardassian scientists come aboard Deep Space 9, as part of the new treaty with Bajor, to set up equipment to allow communications through the wormhole; but Commander Sisko must contend with an ancient Bajoran prophecy which foretells that the project will cause the destruction of the wormhole.


Profit Motive

When the Grand Nagus arrives on Deep Space Nine espousing a new philosphophy of charity and fair business dealings, Quark sets out in search of the reason for the Nagus's strange behavior, a quest that leads to the beings living in the wormhole.


Visionary

After receiving radiation poisoning from a surge in Deep Space Nine's power conduits, Chief O'Brien begins to temporarily shift a few hours forward in time, where he witnesses a fight between Romulans and Klingons who are aboard the station, his own death, and the destruction of Deep Space Nine.


Distant Voices

When Dr. Bashir refuses to sell a prohibited medical substance to an alien customer of Quark's, the alien attacks Bashir telepathically, placing him in a coma in which he must fight for his life as the alien destroys his mind, piece by piece.


Through the Looking Glass

The mirror universe's O'Brien kidnaps Commander Sisko to help a group of rebels in the mirror universe stop an Alliance scientist from constructing a sensor array that will let the Alliance track the rebels' bases in the Bad Lands.

An explosion in Garak's shop launches Odo on an investigation that leads to the edge of Cardassian space, where he and Garak discover a Romulan/Cardassian plot to invade the Gamma Quadrant and destroy the Founders' homeworld.


The Die Is Cast

When the renegade Romulan/Cardassian fleet enters the Gamma Quadrant, Commander Sisko defies Starfleet orders and follows them in the Defiant to look for Odo; meanwhile, on a Romulan Warbird, Garak must interrogate Odo to prove his loyalty to his former Cardassian mentor.


Explorers

Commander Sisko builds a replica of an ancient Bajoran solar sailer to prove that the Bajorans could have developed interstellar flight at a time when humans were still sailing the oceans of Earth; but he and Jake are stranded light years off course when the solar sailer unexpectedly accelerates to warp speed.


Family Business

Quark and Rom travel to the Ferengi homeworld where their mother has been charged with violating Ferengi law, which prohibits females from earning profit; meanwhile back on deep Space Nine, Sisko meets the freighter captain that Jake is trying to set him up with.

When Kai Winn gains control of the Bajoran Provisional Government and begins to make unreasonable demands on former members of Kira's Bajoran resistance cell, Kira and Shakaar, her former cell leader, become fugitives fleeing the Bajoran Militia.

After a Trill ritual where she meets Dax's prior hosts, Jadzia begins to have self-doubts about her worthiness to be a host; meanwhile, Nog takes preliminary tests on his quest for Starfleet Academy enrollment.


The Adversary

As the newly-promoted Captain Sisko takes the Defiant to show the flag at a star system where a coup has occurred, a changeling gains control of the ship and tries to start a war between the star system and the Federation, and the crew races the clock to stop the Founders' plot.
