Mission Highlights: The second half of the ISS-22 crew was launched on December 20, 2009 aboard Soyuz TMA-17 (the 21st Soyuz mission to the International Space Station). Kotov, Creamer, and Noguchi joined ISS Expedition 22 commander Jeff Williams and flight engineer Max Suraev who were already aboard the ISS. When Williams and Suraev returned to Earth, Kotov, Creamer, and Noguchi transition into being the core of the ISS-23 crew. In total, they spent more than 163 days in space, returning to Earth in their Soyuz TMA-17 craft on June 1, 2010.

Mission Highlights: The second half of the ISS-23 crew was launched on April 2, 2010 aboard Soyuz TMA-18 (the 22nd Soyuz mission to the International Space Station). Skvortsov, Kornienko, and Dyson joined ISS Expedition 23 commander Oleg Kotov and crew members Creamer and Noguchi, who were already aboard the ISS as part of the former ISS Expedition 22 crew. When Kotov, Creamer, and Noguchi returned to Earth in June 2010, Skvortsov, Kornienko, and Dyson transitioned to being designated the core of the ISS-24 crew. The Soyuz TMA-18 crew's first attempt to undock for return to Earth in September 2010 was unsuccessful because docking latches on the Poisk docking module did not disengage. However, after some repair work by the crew, they safely undocked and returned to Earth on September 25 (Russian time) after spending 176 days in space.

Mission Highlights: The second half of the ISS-24 crew was launched on June 16, 2010 aboard Soyuz TMA-19 (the 23nd Soyuz mission to the International Space Station). Yurchikhin, Wheelock, and Walker joined ISS Expedition 24 commander Alexander Skvortsov and crew members Mikhail Kornienko and Tracy Caldwell Dyson, who were already aboard the ISS as part of the former ISS Expedition 23 crew. When Skvortsov, Kornienko, and Dyson returned to Earth in September 2010, Yurchikin, Wheelock, and Walk transitioned to being designated the core of the ISS-25 crew. The TMA-19 crew returned to Earth on November 25, 2010 after spending 163 days in space.

Mission Highlights: The second half of the ISS-25 crew was launched on October 7, 2010 aboard Soyuz TMA-01M, a new modified version of the venerable Soyuz spacecraft. Kelly, Kaleri, and Skripochka joined ISS Expedition 25 commander Wheelock and crew members Walker and Yurichikin, who were already aboard the ISS as part of the former ISS Expedition 24 crew. When the TMA-19 crewmembers returned to Earth on November 25, 2010, the TMA-01M crewmembers Kelly, Kaleri, and Skripochka became the core of ISS-26 Expedition crew. The Soyuz TMA-01M crew returned to Earth on March 16, 2011 after spending 159 days in space.

When the TMA-01M crewmembers returned to Earth on March 16, 2011, the TMA-20 crewmembers Kondratyev, Coleman, and Nespoli became the core of ISS-27 Expedition crew. The Soyuz TMA-20 crew returned to Earth on May 23, 2011 after 159 days in space.
