2003: Magic Kingdom - Part 1In December 2003, Helena and I made our first visit to Disney World as an "empty nest" couple. Since our last visit, in 1997, the whole new Animal Kingdom park had opened, plus there were many new rides and attractions that we had never before experienced at the other three theme parks. These included Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin and Mickey's PhilharMagic at the Magic Kingdom, Test Track and Mission: Space at Epcot, and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire: Play It! and Fantasmic at Disney-MGM Studios. Of course, we also enjoyed all of our old favorites.
