Christmas 2004: Walt Disney World - Part 1

Helena and I had the opportunity to visit Disney World yet again during the week before Christmas 2004. Because we had spent 10 days at Disney World just a year earlier (Christmas 2003), during this trip we concentrated on some of the shows, parades, and fireworks presented at the four main theme parks. Beginning on this page are some of the pictures we took on this latest trip to visit "The Mouse." First, let's take a quick tour of Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. This was our first stay at this "moderate" price level resort.

Our room was in earth-tones and was quite comfortable

Our room was in the Casitas section, modeled after city dwellings in Mexico

Further along the central lake, the Ranchos are modeled after country homes

On the other side of the lake, the Cabanas are modeled after beach resort homes

Lastly, the food court has a festive open market atmosphere
